October 2, 2021

It's amazing how quickly the end of the month rolls around, and with it the deadline for the Image of the Month competition!!

Particularly when life is busy, that deadline just creeps up on you, and before you know it it's the last day and you're frantically editing images to get ready to enter.

I decided to do a re-edit of this image of Ruby, which was taken during her Pawfect Moments Experience photo shoot back in October 2020. The original image was in colour, but I wanted to try a classic, black & white edit.

I absolutely loved how it turned out and I was thrilled when it was awarded a Bronze in September's Image of the Month Competition.

This image did take ages to get right, so that left me very little time to edit the last two images. I wasn't expecting great things of these, and they were both awarded Classified, which was pretty much as expected. The first image is from Pelucchi's Charity Calendar which I photographed last year, and the second image is of Aston, when he was helping me check out a new location along the canal.

Just one more month to go for this year's Image of the Month competition!
