Five Ways to celebrate Valentines Day with your dog!

Valentines Day is fast approaching – the day of the year when you celebrate with the love of your life…… that’s your dog, right? ?

Here are five ideas for treating your pooch for Valentines Day:

ADVENTURE FROM YOUR DOOR STEP
Some of the best adventures are the ones you share with your dog!

Although we can't go too far at the moment, you can still have an adventure from your doorstep - why not check out a new footpath in your local town or village or try a route you haven't done before. You could even let your dog's nose lead the way!

When Charlie comes to visit, we enjoy wandering around the footpaths in and around our village. He particularly likes it when we end up near the brook and he can go for a paddle in the water (he’s a big water baby).

What’s your dog’s favourite adventure?

LEARN SOME NEW TRICKS
Spending time together at home is a great way to learn new tricks - or perhaps revisit some older ones! Why not check out how good your dog's impulse control is by making a heart shape out of treats and ask them to wait 5 seconds before eating it?

WATCH A PAWSOME FILM
There’s nothing better than a cosy evening in with the one you love. Grab a takeaway, light the log fire and cuddle up on the sofa with your four-legged friend to watch your favourite doggy movie. Perhaps you’ll enjoy a classic like Lassie or Beethoven, or go for something more modern like A Dog’s Purpose.

You can check out my blog with my NINE favourite doggy movies  for some ideas!

HAVE A PUPCAKE PICNIC
Enjoy a winter picnic in your garden (or maybe in your lounge if the weather is bad). I highly recommend the Valentines treat bag from Pupcake Princess Dog Bakery to get a yummy treat for your pooch so that they can join in too!

CAPTURE YOUR PAWFECT MOMENTS
Although photo shoots can't take place quite yet, it is the perfect time to treat your loved one to a gift voucher for a photo shoot experience (or drop hints for them to treat you!)

My gift vouchers come in a Valentines themed gift box and include at least one 16 inch Premium Mounted Print and three social media digital files - and I'll even throw in a treat for the dog. Find out more here>>

How are you spending Valentines Day this year?
