Another month, another nerve-wracking day when the Guild of Photographers' Image of the Month results are announced!
In February, I chose to enter three shots from Fred's puppy shoot which took place in November 2021 and I was super pleased to receive a Bronze Award for this gorgeous head-tilt shot!
Fred was about 14 weeks old when the photo shoot took place, and he was mildly intrigued by his new auntie making strange noises at him and clicking a black box! But as you can see he totally rocked the posing - there's nothing so wonderful as a cute, fluffy puppy doing the perfect head-tilt!

My remaining two images of Fred were awarded Classified, which is a professional status but not quite enough for a Bronze!
Personally I love the sleeping puppy shots, but they never seem to score particularly well in competition - I'm not sure why. I really love the black and white image of Fred having a snooze during his phot shoot.
So - onwards and upwards for next month's entries!!
