It's amazing how quickly the days roll around until IOM Results day! It's always a little nerve-wracking as you worry whether you've missed a cloning error or mucked up on the editing somehow.....

It was great to be awarded another three Bronze Awards for my pet portraits in February, and I was also happy to consistently achieve Classifieds with my iPhone images in the open category.

February's models are Flint the Irish Terrier, Winnie the Miniature Dachshund and Prim the German Shepherd, who all attended one of my Mini Shoot Days in December and February.

Mini Shoots are not right for every dog due to the time constraints and lots of other doggy smells in a confined space, but all three were absolutely fabulous on the day!

I was short on time to pick my "open" entries this month, so opted for three shots taken around Whitby towards the end of February. Whitby is one of my favourite places, I just love the old streets and of course the 199 steps! This was my first visit to the Abbey on a cold blustery day up on the headland!

I felt these images would work best as black & white conversions, again all taken on the iPhone and edited using Snapseed. While none of them was awarded Bronze, they all were graded Classified, which is 70 points out of 100 (and considered professional standard), which I am very happy to achieve with these images.
