Tell us a little about yourself in a few brief sentences
I live with my husband, our two daughters and our labradors Dave and Remus. One of our favourite places is the Lake District, it's where we got married and we go there every other year as it's a great place for dog friendly holidays! I'm also a volunteer leader with Girlguiding UK.

What is your favourite doggy character in a film/book & why?
So many.... Hooch, Brutus, Dogger - all show the love of a good dog and how big dogs can be misunderstood but are simply fab

Share something that not many people know about you
 I'm a Harry Potter nerd!!!

What is your dream dog breed and why? Do you now or have you previously owned this breed?
As a child it was a St Bernard simply because they are SO huge and fluffy and look so impressive. I've never owned one and now as an adult don't think I would as I wouldn't have time for the grooming!

When did you start your business and what was your inspiration for doing so?
I wanted a job that I would enjoy, and working with dogs is a sure way to be happy as they are so unconditional loyal and loving. As our business has evolved my inspiration continually changes and develops, now I LOVE improving dogs and their owners lives.

Best piece of advice you have been given
Take time off, sit back and relax!

What is your favourite local business / shop / restaurant and why?
I don't have a favourite, but any small dog friendly cafe with good cake and outdoor seating gets my vote!

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Passing my dog trainer qualifications with the IMDT

What is your perfect day?
A long walk in the countryside, picnic stop and nice pub at the end!
