Covid Policy updated 29th March 2021
Due to the situation with the current pandemic, there are a few things I am doing differently to ensure we are behaving in a Covid-secure way during your photo shoot. Please do take the time to read this page and be aware of the different measures that will be in place.
Please note that the guidance is changing on a regular basis and therefore may be different at the time of your photo shoot. I will advise you ahead of time if this is the case.
If you feel unwell, have any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been contacted by NHS Track and Trace, please obey the Government guidelines on self-isolating and do not attend your photo shoot. I will be happy to rearrange this for you at no additional cost
OUTDOOR PHOTO SHOOTS
Keep two metres apart - in line with Government advice, we will stay 2 metres apart during your photo shoot. This isn't a problem as I have a BIG lens!
Masks - I will not normally wear a mask for your outdoor shoot, however, if you would feel more comfortable, I will be happy to wear one. Please let me know if you would like me to do this.
Dog handling - it is normal for you to do most of the dog handling during your photo shoot. If you would prefer me not to touch your dog at all, please do let me know.
Leads & Collars - we can keep your dog on their lead and collar if you prefer to keep control over their contact with others. If you have a thin lead, please bring this along as it is easier to clone out afterwards. Alternatively, I have a show lead you can use. This will be disinfected between every photo shoot.
INDOOR PHOTO SHOOTS
IN YOUR HOME
At the moment I am assessing whether to accept bookings for At Home Studio Style sessions on a case-by-case basis, dependent on available space in your home. These will be conducted in accordance with the Working in Other People's Home's guidance on the Government website, as advised by my MP. Where these go ahead, the following guidelines will be followed:
One Shoot Per Day - there will only be one shoot per day to allow me to clean and disinfect my equipment
Masks - I will wear a mask and I would ask for you to do the same where possible while I am in your home
Ventilation - please keep windows open during your photo shoot to allow adequate ventilation
Set up - I will set up the equipment in one room and stay in that one room for the duration of the photo shoot. Please try to minimise your contact with my equipment as far as possible when positioning your dog.
Minimise Spectators - I would appreciate it if there are as few humans as possible in the space in which I am working to minimise the risk. Ideally this means just one handler per dog in the room with me.
2 Metres apart - where possible, please ensure we stay 2 metres apart. If you do need to get a bit closer e.g. to encourage the dog to look at the camera, please stay to the side of me and for as short a time as possible
LOCAL VENUES - subject to Govt advice allowing these venues to open
If you are uncomfortable with your shoot taking place in your home at this time, we can arrange to use a local venue, subject to Govt advice allowing these venues to open. These venues may also be used for Studio Style Taster Limited Edition Sessions. The following additional measures will also be in place:
Hand sanitizer - hand sanitizer will be provided on entry. Please ensure you use this to clean your hands
Pet Friendly Disinfectant - we will have pet-friendly disinfectant on hand to clean props and backdrops in between each photo shoot (if applicable)
Be punctual - please keep to your time and be punctual so we can ensure minimal contact between bookings
COVID WAIVER DOCUMENT
In order to confirm that you have understood the risks of your photo shoot taking place, I may ask you to read and sign a Covid Waiver document, which will be provided to you in advance of your photo shoot.
If you have any questions about any aspect of the above policy or would like to discuss how it relates to your photo shoot, please don't hesitate to give me a call on 07930 337914 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
