A doggie day at Cotswold Lavender
There's nothing I love more than getting together with friends ..... particularly when dogs and cameras are involved!!
Back in July, my photography friends and I got together at the beautiful lavender fields at Cotswold Lavender with some wonderful dog models. The lavender fields are absolutely stunning when in full bloom - and there's actually a very small window of opportunity for photo shoots as they are harvested at the end of July.
We were lucky that we timed it just right so the lavender was just coming into full bloom, and the weather was absolutely perfect!
In the morning we had Archer the Beauceron, Elsa the retriever and Buddy the German Shepherd/husky cross, and in the afternoon we had Lola the crossbreed, Daisy the Ridgeback, Saffy the Labrador & Evie the Brittany Spaniel, and Hugo the French Bulldog & Beau the dalmatian.
It was great to have such a mix of different breeds and a few I haven't photographed before! Big thanks to our wonderful models on the day.
I'm thinking of running some lavender mini-sessions in 2020 - if you'd like to be added to the waiting list for details nearer the time, send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org!
