Buddy's Photo Shoot: Collie Cross Dog Portrait Photography

In early August I met a lovely collie-cross called Buddy Valentino for his photo shoot, at a local country park. It was right in the middle of the heatwave, so we planned an evening shoot and luckily the temperatures had cooled enough that it wasn’t too hot. The country park was great as there were lots of shady areas as well.

Buddy’s owner, Becky, told me that the things she loved about Buddy were his super eyebrows, and his white chest which marked him as a collie, so I was conscious of keeping this in mind throughout his shoot to make sure his poses accentuated both of these traits.

Buddy was an absolute pro for posing and we got some great shots of him in the evening light. Here are a few of my favourites!
