A day of dog walking
In February I was commissioned by Potter Paws Dog Walking from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, to join them for a day to take photographs for their website & social media presence. Potter Paws offers a group walk service to local dog owners as well as home boarding, and during the day we had three walks with 6 dogs per walk - so lots of waggy tails and playing!
The brief was to capture the interaction between the dog walkers and dogs, as well as some individual portrait shots of the dogs as well. Potter Paws walks their dogs in rural locations, so we had very few distractions and were able to get some great shots of the dogs playing as well as walking together.
On the first walk two of the more distinctive shots were Buster the labradoodle and Pancake the dachshund, and I got a couple of shots showing the differences in size.
Pancake was also my little helper while I was taking the photos, as he stuck close to my side!
One of the things Potter Paws had mentioned was that they walk the dogs in locations that can be muddy, so owners are aware that dogs may not come home in an entirely clean state.
Bowmore was a great help in providing a “muddy dog” photo for that section on the Potter Paws website!
All in all a fun day with the dogs and a happy client!
